Jira
Create Jira tickets from Atlas and get reminders to follow-up with customers when Jira tickets are completed.
Overview
This integration makes it easy for your support team to relay customer issues that require engineering help to your product and engineering teams. With this integration you can create or link existing Jira issues to Atlas tickets. You can easily keep your customers up-to-date on the progress of those issues by viewing their progress in Atlas’s customer timeline.
How it works
Create issues in Jira directly from Atlas. After you connect Jira to Atlas, you will be able to create issues, link to existing issues, and see the progress on any issues from within Atlas. In Jira, you can see which Atlas tickets are associated with a specific issue.
Whenever an issue is completed or closed within Jira, the associated Atlas ticket will automatically be re-opened (of closed or snoozed) and marked as unread so that your team knows to follow-up with the customer on the task.
Issues created from Atlas will go to your team’s Triage view if you have it enabled or the backlog. You can use filters to find and sort issues that have been linked to Atlas and make custom views.
Configure
To connect Jira to Atlas, go to App Configuration > Jira in Atlas. From here, you’ll login via OAuth to Jira and choose then teams you would like to have synced into Atlas.
